KANE UNDERWATER SERVICES was founded in 2010 by Chris Kane and operates all over Connecticut waterways and Rhode Island inland and coastal waters.As of 2020 we have become a full service commercial diving company with the addition of Jay Kane, diving supervisor and project estimator. Jay has over 40 years of experience; his role handles all municipal and commercial cliental. KUWS has over 100 years of diving and construction experience.

 

Our typical jobs include  hull inspections, boat bottom cleanings , zinc replacements, underwater inspections( under direction of professional engineers and/or third party clients), mooring installs including helical anchors, mooring inspection with full reports and the recovery of lost items (cell phones, wallets, jewelry, etc.) We also provide  diving services on any type of project.

Over the years, we have provided services to vessels ranging from 15 foot racing sailboats to 200 foot long and greater yachts.

 

We have also completed over various erosion control inspection projects and water treatment work over the past 14 years in business.

In addition to our standard services, our dive team also works along side SeaTow and Tow Boat US assisting with fouled props, recovery of lost items, and dive-assisted  salvage jobs.
